“Give us the right tool for the job and we will achieve anything”

Ever since I was an apprentice, 40 years ago, I have been fascinated with machines and tooling! I always found it easier to use machines than to do it myself, I think I have an affinity with them! A machine that will do the work instead of me seems like a fair trade, as I wasn’t built for that. With that in mind, we also have to remember this! A machine only takes the tool to the job, it plays no part in cutting the material. The cutting is done by the tool! The symbiosis between tool and machine is the same that exists between software and hardware. Each are a marvel of man’s endeavour but only together, do they reach their potential! If you buy a Ferrari and put trainers on it instead of tyres, you won’t get very far! If you buy a machine and expect it to move the Earth, make sure you give it the right tools!   

Arrow is a local company based in the North West of the UK. We are named after our biggest principle, “be straight with others so they will be straight with you”, so like an arrow, we fly straight. In this day and age there are a lot making a promise that they cannot keep, that is something we would never do!      

We have 10 years experience in engineering on manual, and CNC machines. And 30 Years experience in the furniture industry, with angle plants, saws, through-feed production lines and multi-head CNC machines. From 10 bespoke components a day, to 50,000 per week, we can supply, and advise the right tool for the job, it just depends how fast you want to go!
